# \[reported\] New players - broken link

My friend tried to start GoW and got this issue:\*\*

Platform, device version and operating system:\*\*

Steam, dnk, win 10

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
_When you download GoW, finish tutorial, go to Settings_ → _Account_ → _Register Account and put an email you get info to verify email by clicking link. Link gets you to_ [Email Verified – Gems of War](https://gemsofwar.com/email-verified/) where is improper link at “[Save your progress and link or recover your account in Gems of War](https://gemsofwar.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202984335-Save-your-progress-and-link-or-recover-your-account-in-Gems-of-War)”

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Always?

**Steps to make it happen again**  
As described above
