# \[Reported\] Glitch in this weeks gems of war event

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**

When I opened gems of war Defense teams all my troops are the same troops except for Day 1. I expected them to be different. Just to see what I had. It gives me my bonus points because they are different. It’s our third day battling we on yellow team today.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**

Today at 4:03 P.M. Thursday December 7, 2023 when i noticed it.

**Steps to make it happen again**

I close the game and go to gems of war defense.

Has been happening for years now. Always check your defense teams on the first day of guild wars, if they have glitched out like that.  
Somebody mentioned a potential reason a while back, I think it was either using a specific troop in PvP or fighting explore in a specific kingdom; I can’t remember and don’t seem to find the thread right now.
