# \[Reported\] Forum issue - numbered list - guess markdown issue

**Platform, device version and operating system:**  
firefox 90.0.2  
windows 10 21h1

(tested with µblock origin & with µblock origin extension disabled)

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**

expected: numbered list dont work.

happened: the 1. disappears in preview when using `1.`, no numbered list is generated.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
always. no idea when it started.

**Steps to make it happen again**  
either use `1.` or the numbered lists icon in this editor.

unnumbered lists ( `*` ) work fine.

while in preview nothing shows for numbered lists, in the actual post _something_ shows but is incorectly indented:

as you can see unnumbered lists are fine.

`community.gemsofwar.com#$#.topic-body .cooked { overflow: unset !important; }`

^ In uBlock’s ‘My filters’ seems to fix the display of numbered lists (but not in the editor preview). Changes nothing with regards to parsing the underlying Markdown.  
Not tested extensively, probably breaks on long lists.

interesting, that does indeed fix the issue.

however…

- with µblock disabled in firefox
- in a browser without µblock
  - chrome 92.0.4515.131
  - edge chromium 89.0.774.68

the issue is also present. i guess µblock isn’t the issue then.

side note: also disabled built-in anti-tracker etc… stuff in all browsers, didn’t make a difference.

devtools complains about the discource javascript, perhaps something upstream changed. regretfully i have neither the time or ambition to start debugging js.

Yeah, the problem is with the forums, not uBlock. Just using uBlock to fix the problem - sort of.

Hello there!

Thanks for raising this issue, I’ll add this to my report and place a request to the Dev Team to get this looked into. I’m not to sure how long this may take to correct as game development and fixes will take priority over any forum bug fixes.
