Looks like it used the same opponent lineup in the pre battle screen, as the one I had defeated to get the original Pet Gnome. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคท๐Ÿ–– ---

It looks like immediately detouring to pet rescue doesnโ€™t properly clear the PvP battle on server side. You get it handed out again the next time, since youโ€™ve already completed it you run into a cliffy. This is likely somewhat similar to explore battles when you end up entering the same side quest battle twice due to map corruption.
