# \[Reported\] Doomed Dart-thrower doesn't work

Windows 10 x64

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
I just killed five groups of monsters with this bow. Red Gems never exploded, even when I killed red monsters. And just now I killed Doom. Do you see the quarter of my mana? I don’t see it too.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Always so far (but I killed everyone with one hit so far).

**Steps to make it happen again**

- Kill the red monster or Doom with Doomed Dart-thrower.
- Get zero listed rewards.

Update: if I _don’t_ kill the boss, I really get my mana back. So it’s checked after attack. Duh. Ok, it’s a weird mechanic, but not a bug.

And yes, just as I expected, if I _don’t_ kill the red enemy with my attack, gems are exploded. And _this_ is looks like a bug for me.

Wonder if the yellow version works the same way as if not it is likely a bug as it would make no sense fif them to work differently especially as nothing is noted in the text
