Platform: xbox/console

Everytime I do a daily adventure battle it defaults to the first series of battles and I have to rescroll over to do the battle I want

Every time after when the daily challenges and adventure board were consolidated to one screen

Do a daily adventure battle e.g. seek glory 1, harvest souls 1, and search keys 3 and if you want to skip souls and go for the keys it’ll default you to the seek glory or the first one that hasn’t been completed yet and you want to work on the search for keys 3 chain but in this instance if I want to skip souls and go for keys it’ll default me back to souls after the keys battle

Is this when playing with a controller? Touchscreen input is not affected. _(edit)_ - yes, can confirm that after completing any adventure battle, the controller cursor resets to the leftmost/first available battle.

I also notice the 2nd and 3rd adventure battles lost the padlock icon that previously communicated that their tiers need to be completed in sequence.

Certainly doable, but for best results it would almost need to be annotated.

At any rate, users commonly expect a specific menu/screen to remember its cursor position when the game switches away and back again. It’s not a “bug” per se but rather an expected ease-of-use matter.

This has always happened to me since the update. I just assumed that was the way it worked now. I sometimes forget and do fights i didnt want because it defaults back to the first one

You don’t. You upload it elsewhere and link to it here, like this:

[![](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/gemsofwar/original/3X/0/7/07734032b453991b48abd52409aea7fc59053c6d.jpeg "Gems of War bug: Daily plunder cursor reset") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYa5t7VJlug)

And because this is a pretty subtle issue, here’s some snapshots with annotations:
