# \[Reported\] Chat resolution changes when opening chat from different spots

Steam.

When chat is opened from the main map screen:

When chat is opened from inside of a battle:

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
I was expecting chat to be the same resolution/size no matter where I open it from.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Every time I open chat from different areas. Started when 7.2 went live.

**Steps to make it happen again**  
Open chat.

Same happening on PS4. Entered on chat and it was small. Changed to medium, left, enterde again and it was large, although the settings said it was medium.

“small” chat setting is now smaller than before, and medium is uncomfortably huge. Steam.

There was a bug in the “Global Chat”, when I open the main map, the chat becomes the same size (that is, the chat has become shorter). And when I open a chat during a fight, it looks like a standard one.

another issue being overshadowed by that pathfinders… _places conspiracy hat on_ its although they have manufactured a problem to hide all the smaller problems
