When did it begin happening?** It is an uncommon, yet annoying occurrence. It has been happening for a couple of years. **Steps to make it happen again** None known ---

The box shows up on Steam too with seemingly no consistent trigger for it. I just close the game and reopen it. The box is gone after this, but it’s annoying that it’s there at all. Because closing the game and reopening it makes it go away, I assume there isn’t much motive to fix it. Does anyone know the trigger for this bug or what’s probably happening when it shows up? ---

The boxes have been appearing ever since 7.3 with the new PvP. It’s still showing up now in 7.5. It only happens in PvP. A Red square, white square, or the guild shield will randomly appear in the middle of the screen during PvP battles. We have not found a trigger to cause it or pattern. Been playing PvP for a couple hours and the square appeared once i started the maraji expanse wild plains region for the first time. I think they don’t own an Xbox so they can’t test it. I’m still getting these squares everyday in PvP… ---

Yeah, it’s ridiculous. We’re using our trinkets or whatever those things are to boost the battles, then we get these random squares blocking the center of the board, and it’s a waste. I couldn’t tell you how many resources have been wasted trying to do PVP battles because of this bug. ---

Just to add to the bug. The square changes colors based on the color of the guild shield. Ours was always red, so we got red squares. Our shield is now purple and now I’m getting purple squares in PvP. ---
