The biggest draw for this new mode, was orbs as a reward. Its 1 of the very few ways to get them. I feel that there are not enough of them. Even if its 1 Orb of Chaos per portal from 1-6. Portals 7-10 get 1 Major Orb. As an end game player, I have 8 troops left to get, and under 50 total to get to mythic. Orbs are basically all I want from the rewards as current. The 55 gems I can get in ~6 hours of tributes. Event Keys, I will get from leveling instead. And the amount of time I put into Raids this week, would of made most of them from that instead. Souls and Gold are non rewards. Getting lucky with a few gnomes and you have already made more than the entire 10 portals give. Give us rewards that we will use or want. Glory, VIP Key (maybe 1 or 2 from portal 10 close), Gems, more Orbs. Make it worthwhile for us to want to do. There is a reason to push for GW. There is a reason to Explore. There is a reason to PvP. All are endless replayability, ignoring tediousness. Raids, and we assume Invasions will be the same, are push to close last portal/destroy tower, and then do nothing. We could have collectively 100 sigils left at the end of the week, and have no reason to use them, as we havent spent 3k gems in the shops, so no rewards there to use em to get. Give us a reason to want to do it. NOTE: Not all the complaints here are mine, a bunch are from guildies as well ---

Mang was strong, but there are other options. Like Dragon Eye. Dispatch the Boss with a few Xian shots, then just transform everything else. ---

Could you save me some time and work out the max score possible for each shop tier 2,3,4 etc. Assuming winning all fights and valraven 1:4 battles. You’re obviously better at math than me lol. ---

I essentially stopped playing the raid boss battles (aside from showing a friend the game yesterday) about Friday due to time/effort vs reward payoff. I don’t mind the idea of having to choose between raid boss or pvp or other aspects of the game, but the rewards need to be worth it. With guild wars there was a definitive limit of 5 battles a day. With this you could do tens of battles of day if you wanted to spend the gems or were lucky getting sigils. I did see the volvaren about every 4 battles and frankly after about Wednesday I really didn’t care whether he flew off, because that allowed me to concentrate on other troops and win the battle. The battles themselves took a tremendous amount of time even if I won it. (I actually did win the battle I was showing the game to a friend even though I expected to lose. It came down to my diviner vs the volvaren and the volvaren flew away.) One thing that REALLY irritated me was damage to other troops didn’t count for anything in the score and dealing with them was a great time waster. I could do 5 pvp battles easily in the same time and get far more loot. Either take them out so you are only fighting the boss or make them worth something. Yes the barrier should negate the boss’s kill shot since it is by nature a damaging attack. ---

Multiple guild members voiced their dissatisfaction with the new Raid event. The main complaints: - Too time consuming when compared with Guild Wars, you have to do a lot more Raid battles than GW battles - No trophy rewards in comination with the time commitment Raid requires means it’s hard to both meet the guild trophy requirements and do well in raid - On top of that the rewards for GW battles are a lot better than the rewards for Raid battles - The boss fight gets really repetitive - The new boss is basically uncraftable, considering that those orbs of power are rarer than rare, you don’t get a lot of orbs anyway, and you need 20 !!! orbs of growth to craft a greater orb of growth - Orb of growth is a miserable, miserable, miserable (let me stress that, because it’s important to drive this point home: _miserable_) reward compared to the other orbs - For some reason you need 20 orbs of growth to craft a greater orb of growth, instead of the four orbs you need to craft a greater orb in case of the other orbs, why?! It doesn’t make any sense mathematically A few points of light: - The other orbs are all really solid, orb of clans in particular proved to be very useful for getting us to 40k seals despite some vacations - Many liked the boss mechanic in theory (but would like it much better if it approximately came down to the 5 daily battles Guild Wars requires to keep up) - The playstyle is more relaxing and forgiving than GW because there’s less pressure to play each day, you can easily skip raid battles on a busy day and catch up the next day ---

I voted no because - if we make abstraction of the gems sink aspect - the battles were very repetitive and so quite boring. I am enjoying invasion much more. ---

I agree, using troop types is likely way more fun then just a single kingdom. But I still enjoyed the raid challenge, it just grew old fighting the same 10 troops. ---
