# PVP defense team question

I played a match in PVP and I moved up in rankings. I lost and I went down a few.  
On the page viewing how much points I have gone up and down in matches, I have another match listed in losing 3 points, but my other match was a team defense.  
Do the automatic defense matches that we can’t control, if there is a loss, does this count as losing points in the leader board?  
Also, does leaving a match lose points in leader board?

You lose pvp points if you retreat, quit or crash.

They lower your PVP points also but by a smaller amount.

Alright, it was only 3 or something but still something to watch for I guess.
