Free just means they are what you get if you don’t buy the pass. You still need to get the 2000 points for each tier. ---

Yes, although I must admit I too I initially wondered why I wasn’t receiving them for Free. A different choice of wording would probably clear up any confusion - perhaps labeling them as “Base” or “Base Pass” ---

Hey, I’ve moved this to the feedback and feature requests section of the forum. I’ll make a Quality of Life request to: - Remove the word free altogether - Make sure the lock icon links to the Season Pass purchase screen to make it more obvious why they are locked - That the screen shows progress in Victory Points towards the next reward tier, as it currently just shows numbers but not what those numbers are. ---

I also find the one path structure very irritating. It would have been better to structure it like my other game does. And you could just as well have given players a single or no reward for a tier and paid passes could have had one or two per tier. I don’t know why you’re so insistent on making the game more and more work. This design is clear and easy to understand (and more rewarding). I suspect that would make it way too apparent how stingy the F2P rewards are. Only each third reward is free, it’s mostly talismans and 15 minute buffs, and whenever it contains something useful it’s usually around half the amount compared to the exclusive rewards. The way it works right now is a direct copy of Hearthstone Battlegrounds. With the notable difference that Hearthstone Battlegrounds only puts cosmetics into the paid pass.
