Did you ever think the devs purposely donā€™t give us info like this because they know weā€™ll attempt to figure it out on our own? Which serves 2 purposes: 1. weā€™re engaged more in the game by doing so and 2. they get the amusement of watching us ferreting out the answers (or missing completely). Hell - theyā€™ve probably already place bets on how close we can get to the real answer. Itā€™s the same reason they encourage all sorts of speculation on every aspect of the game. It generates more buzz & engages people. Theyā€™ll continue to let us have our fun with these things. ---

Iā€™m of two minds about it. On the one hand, I love seeing the community come together in common cause. And itā€™s neat to see different peopleā€™s expertises shine. On the other hand, the lack of transparency is incredibly frustrating XD But here I am, continuing to plug awayā€”I think Iā€™ve got the motherlode this time around (see Account 2)! > [@vanyel](#): > > Did you ever think the devs purposely donā€™t give us info like this because they know weā€™ll attempt to figure it out on our own? For some systems, yes, but for this one, they flat out told us already these tasks had the same ā€œgem valueā€ as the last two systems combined. And Iā€™m pretty sure they have a different reason for not divulging ā€œgem valueā€ tables. This is less the fun kind of figuring out a new system, which I do legitimately enjoy doing, and more just due diligence, which isā€¦ less fun. Lots of claims are being thrown about ā€œthe rewards are amazingā€ and ā€œthe rewards suckā€, ā€œwe lost gemsā€ and ā€œwe gained gemsā€, and I (and many others) want to know where we actually stand. Iā€™m going to begin compiling again on Friday or so by the way. I think after then Iā€™ll have enough to show actual value estimates. Although if I do us ā€œactual ratios of type appearanceā€ I can tell by a simple count that currently not-gems is ahead on Legendary and not-keys is ahead on Mythic tasksā€¦ which Iā€™m still not sure is actually representative of what is going on here. So Iā€™ll probably do two tables, one assuming equal weighting and one with task type ratios gathered from this thread, weā€™ll see how far apart they are, and if they are close enough then we have a decent picture of what is going on. I appreciate everybodyā€™s contributions. Alsoā€¦ LLM board from @Magnusimus shows that this is also possible now. ---
