# Pet rescue timer is displayed wrong

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened**  
If a pet event is starting at some time, it looks like you wanted to display a countdown timer. But I presume no pet event is scheduled yet, so there’s nothing for the format strings and I see “Pet rescue starts in %1h and %2m.”

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Probably until you schedule the pet event.

**Steps to make it happen again**

1. Install 3.4

I believe this also causes the event to not trigger and game needs to be restarted to get the event.
