We can have our own points.

Thats called democracy .

I understand you. As infernal king gets more resummons for AI.

It is slightly annoying.
But i dont think of the AI. I try and think off. What would be fun for me to use. Win lose or draw.

Theres to many people by far on here. That want all troops to be 1 button. Win no brains. Speed matters more thsn anything players.

Its a game, so for me. I like differnt troops, skills. Spells. And to not be comatose. While playing gems. As using your brain. Helps stave of dementia.

Use your brain got nothing to do with the CPU higher chances to summon on death, than stated. That is a broken mechanic. You say you want it higher for the evil mother dragon, I don’t.

Except. As far as the devs are concerned.

The AI doesnt have higher percentages.

Also the negative is always shouted louder thsn the positive.

Weve all had lucky wins from resummons. But no one shouts about it. Only shouts are about unlucky AI resummons.

Its the same case in point over immortal caprichor. My fave immortal btw. Hardly ever lose in human. His potion is so OP. But everyone hates potions 🤣 not because the lose. But because there waiting an extra 5 seconds. .

Just a thought.. wouldnt we much more prefer that the devs focused on the spell and damage output instead? Cuz if we are lucky, we won’t get everything here. But I am not gonna lie, the 3rd trait is just so weak that it hurts to read it.

Honestly. What ever changes they make. Wont make it a meta troop.

And theres no rules that state. Every new dragon set. Has to be more powerful. Than the last.

People can fight the good fight over this dragon. But also keep in mind. Next dragons might be weaker than stella/chrys to.

I don’t really have a problem with these evil dragons being weaker than the last batch. I am glad the power creep stopped at least for now. If nothing else, this makes me think devs are still concerned about the long-term viability of the game. Otherwise, why bother to tune down these dragons? Let’s keep buffing them to the moon one after another. That will only make everyone happy. Or will it? First of all, it’s not easy to balance a game. Secondly, one can never make everyone happy. If the new dragons are one tick too powerful, people would complain about power creep destroying the game. If they are one tick too weak, people (maybe the same group of people) would complain about not getting good value for their dragonites.

For people who struggle to save dragonites to get all dragons: I feel for you because we all know it’s not easy. For me, I am perfectly fine with having the option of 1) working hard to collect useless cards and 2) don’t bother with them and still be fine. This is no different than for example collecting all those useless doomed weapons and getting them to the max level. Prior to the forge orbs, it was even more difficult to get them fully upgraded. Some people like me routinely spent 20 - 30k gems per ToD to buy enough forge scrolls to upgrade them all. That was the choice I made but I didn’t have to. Many were just fine without all those useless doomed weapons fully upgraded. It’s just the mentality.

There’s a very obvious answer to your question, they don’t have any clue about the game. There’s ample proof for that, you just need to compare Vizinium (a supposedly vanilla member of the set) with Pandemonia (the grand prize only available after jumping through many hoops).

I appreciate the novel approach of front-loading rewards though. Any chance we could also have this for the PvP Season Pass? Move all the rewards to the first 10 slots, fill up the remaining 80 slots with 1 souls each, all the feedback about the repetitive PvP slog finally addressed.

The “they’re preventing power creep” argument would make sense **if Stellarix and Chryst didn’t already exist** , but they do. Those dragons already set the power benchmark. That _is_ the standard now, whether intended or not.

So when a new “evil mother dragon” comes out noticeably weaker, that’s not stopping power creep, the creep already happened. It just means the bar was raised, people invested based on that level, and now the standard suddenly drops.

You can’t establish a power level with two releases and then call it “healthy balance” when the next one doesn’t match it. That’s not preventing creep, it’s shifting expectations after the fact.

Just because the Evil Dragon Mother isn’t a priority for you doesn’t mean it should be underwhelming for everyone else.

I feel bad for players that invested dragonite to get Pandemonia because they probably realized that Chrysantherax and Stellarix are so much better. I’m sure the developers will send them some dragonite in the mail for compensation…🤣

And the developers were trying to create a new version of power creep with the evil dragons, but failed miserably on Pandemonia because they overestimated the power of terror–which is not that great of a status effect. Stun, freeze, and yes, silence are much better at disabling opponents, along with curse.

Pandemonia should be the Lord of status effects imo, but there has been no official response to this, so I’m going to assume that they don’t care. Get your Vizinium and maybe some others and just stop. The dragonite cost for Pandemonia pales in comparison to Chrysantherax.

While I agree with you, I also find it exceptionally strange how few players came to the boards to share their opinion on this. From the Devs view they may think that…”it is just the same handful of players complaining all over again..so let it be..” (When a change is most needed.)

Whatever went wrong, it went very wrong.

Maybe we need to tone down. Expectations and assumptions. That every drsgon set will be stronger. I didnt think thst way. Because no one ever said it was going to be the case.

Think of it in terms of the Die Hard movies.

So 4th set will be pants 🤣

Why would they want to? There isn’t any exchange with the Gems of War team, or a way to get feedback to them that feels like it ever reaches the destination. There’s mostly a bunch of automated official news that contain obvious errors more often than not. Most guilds and alliances have those subscribed for their Discord, so there’s no need to visit a place that doesn’t really want visitors.

To make this a bit more fair, I believe Jeto has done an incredible job at improving the overall situation. However, there’s a whole legion of veteran players who, over the past years, felt their forum experience wouldn’t ever warrant returning. They still play the game, which may explain why the most prominent advice encountered outside of this forum is to stay away from the forum.

What do you mean by the “standard” and “expectation”? Sometimes the released troops are stronger and sometimes are weaker. The game ebbs and flows like this as always. I can define the “standard” and “expectation” at any of those local peaks and troughs of troop power. If I get upset because my “standard” and “expectation” are constantly shattered, maybe that’s just part of the game?

I know the power surge created by two troops, Stellarix and Chrys, is the greatest to date, but I am going back to what I said originally: it’s not easy to balance a game, any game. No matter what devs do, some people will complain. The only way that no one will complain about troop power is to always release troops of the same strength. Is it realistic? Or is the game even fun like this? I am guessing, purely guessing that devs didn’t like where this power creep created by 2 troops was heading and scaled back. By the way things like this happened many times in the game. The first gen doomed weapons (doomed skull converters) came to mind. No doomed weapons released afterwards came close to their power. I have no problem with correction like this because I believe the alternative is more detrimental to the game.

I also want to point out people should already know the quality of evil dragons before spending their dragonites. The biggest gripe about evil dragons is that they can’t self-loop. It was made clear in the official announcement that evil dragons would not be able to loop like Stellarix and Chrys. They were probably kingdom restricted material. Knowing this, if people still chose to spend their hard earned dragonites to go after them, it was a choice they made. I made the same choice and I was happy that I finished this collection and could move on. Like I mentioned above, people could also choose not to chase this type of collection troops, and many didn’t. They will be just fine too. In the end, devs didn’t rob anyone of their dragonites.

It’s funny that you mentioned the doomed weapons. I used the doomed glaive with troops like Beetrix for awhile. Absolutely fantastic chorus of bee stings and destruction.🍺

The Sinister’s Reaper from the evil dragon set is actually pretty good. It does nearly 2× your hero’s magic value to all enemies while creating 🟣 heroic gems that can generate mana, while spreading bleed, terror, and poison. It’s the best dragonite weapon now imo, so at least there’s some progress there.
