# \[not a bug\] Promoted PVP Goal Not Working

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**
The goal says “Reach Alliance Level Legionary IV”. I expected this to unlock when I reached Alliance Level Legionary IV. Instead, it did not.
**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**
This is the first time. I didn’t have any issues previous seasons.
**Steps to make it happen again**
No idea. Obviously there’s no way for me as a player to roll back my PVP progress and try to repeat anything related to this. It did happen to be the bonus VP from finishing the final weekly PVP goals that pushed me from Legionary III to Legionary IV, so maybe that’s the cause.

Exit out of PVP map then return. It will credit then.

That caused an on-screen notification that I made Legionary IV, but still didn’t unlock the goal.

Those “Promoted” season goals have several levels. Does yours show full ie 5/5? I can’t remember the bronze number but the silver one is 8/8. Also there’s corresponding loyalty to unlock each tier as well.

~~I am experiencing this issue now (2/19/26), except it’s stuck at “Reach Alliance Level Legionary I” - progression of this goal shows “5/8”. I have confirmed that I’m already Legionary IV with my alliance and can provide screenshots if needed. I did exit out of the PVP map and reloaded the game but no success.~~
Nevermind, I see now that the Alliance Ranks are reverse progression – the higher the number of the rank means the lower in level you are. i.e. Legionary I is 3 ranks **higher** than Legionary IV. 🤦♀️
