# No trait stones rescuing Grimlet

**Platform, device version and operating system**  
Steam, probably all platforms.

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened**  
When rescuing Grimlet, I was expecting to receive a trait stone for each battle. There’s never one awarded, which is probably because the trait stones seem to get pulled from the kingdom the pet belongs to. It’s Apocalypse for Grimlet, I suspect that kingdom is still missing a trait stone assignment.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Every time.

**Steps to make it happen again**  
Win one of the Grimlet rescue battles.

I don’t remember ever getting traitstones for pet rescue battles. I typically receive a pet, pet food, money or jewels. Are we actually supposed to be getting traitstones from pet rescue battles?

Yes, the standard gold, souls and a trait stone as part of finishing a battle, plus possibly treasure maps and gold keys.
