# No Class XP

Why does a team of four Chaceldony not generate any Class XP. In my case, I am using Geomancer but no Geomancer points are awarded after a PvP victory. Please explain or fix.

You only get class XP if your team has your hero in it.

With no hero, the battle still counts towards class wins needed for class weapon, but no class XP is awarded.
