# New pet notification even if we are doing explore battles

Someone already made a suggestion about a big rework of the pet system, including pet shop where you could buy pets every day, some for money and some for in-game currency.
Now we need pets more, to upgrade kingdoms, seems like it would be a great time to rework the pet system, to make it easier to buy pets. Hope the devs look into this.

At least I was thinking that the active pet could triggered a screen window after an explore battle too, to inform the player a new pet is active. This coould have been the easiest solution to the dilemma.

While I’d prefer Pet Gnomes not to appear in paloozas, they can drop vault keys, so that isn’t an issue. In fact they’re the only gnomes that can drop a vault key as well as (rather than only instead of) their normal drop (white pet food).
