the 3 was surprisingly easy to figure out. the bonus on the other hand… no clue.

Turns out it was 2, after stumbling on the 2 traps.

4,6,3,2: 3 and 2 were traps. Should have gone with the usual strat over following old patterns. eh. Going to fail these kinds of days anyways at some point no matter what I decide to do.

I’m at 995 after today, so I can be done by tomorrow. I’ll be stopping this on Day 100. Should be enough for people to look at (or ignore). I’m sure its still not enough samples for some people. _shrug_

Do we have any aggregated perfect run data based on the sequence in which doors were opened? Originally, going in reading order was heavily penalized, players had a much lower than 10% chance for a perfect run. Players were able to detect a pattern in door placement, which eventually led to optimized opening strategies and a rework of the door mechanism. I’m beginning to wonder whether results are still being skewed, just in a less detectable way, e.g. that going in reading order is still heavily penalized, even though all boss fights can now show up in the top row.

In my case, the 56 trap pair has appeared 9/96 times, with 123 boss trio appearing 3/96 times (Bonus rooms on 4, 4, and 6 for said trios)

So if I had been opening 123456 since the rework, I’d be at 10/96 perfect runs, instead of my current 4/96 (assuming I’m not confusing myself of course 😛)

I missed writing down one day, so it’s 95 instead of 96.  
Seven perfect runs with 123456 always. The only non-123 was 234.

What I’m wondering about is far more subtle. It’s not the chance for all fights to show up in the top row when you open the doors in any order, it’s the chance for all fights to show up in the top row when you open the doors in order 123456. In other words, if you had opened your doors in sequence 123456, would you really have received 10/96 perfect runs or would the game sometimes have switched around things behind the doors to still only give you 4/96 perfect runs? It’s possible to analyze that, requires a whole lot of data though.

For those who are tracking, what percentage of perfect runs do you have? Please note whether you are going by data, randomly, or selecting the same doors every time.

I’ve currently got a little over 16% perfect runs from 52 tracked days.
