Is there any other pairs that are yet to appear, aside from the ones described in [New Dungeon Screenshots & Discussion Thread - #420 by CaptainAwesome](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/new-dungeon-screenshots-discussion-thread/76688/420) ? It would seem that there’s at least one more impossible pair in the mix that’s preventing 123 from happening 🤔 😅 🖖 ---

I haven’t looked at the data closely, but maybe it’s not a problem with the bosses - it’s that the bosses being in 123 would force an impossible combination in 456. The spawn rules seem to prevent two rooms being transposed (the dragon in room 6, and the treasure in room 3, for example) in some cases. If the bosses were in 123, they’d be in a 3-cycle (such as boss 1 where boss 2 can’t spawn, boss 2 where dragon can’t spawn, dragon where boss 1 can’t spawn). This would also force the 2 traps and special room to be in a 3-cycle in the bottom row. I’m sure not all 3-cycles are banned (right?) but if either one of these two can’t happen, you can’t have bosses in 123. Edit: Banning bosses in 123 seems particularly cruel to design, because many players assuming random will just pick 123 every day. I’d suspect it’s a side-effect of something elsewhere on the board. ---

Before AMT found the pairing rule, I was trying to analyze why certain combinations didn’t appear like 1,2,3 and the other top row permutations. There were a lot of other missing combinations so I gave up. The pairing rule narrowing down the combinations leaves only a few we haven’t seen yet in this thread. I did this quickly, late at night, so someone may want to double check later. I calculated 62 possible combinations for the 3 boss rooms using the 2 rules we have. We’ve seen 58 so far, some of them only occurring once, others up to 9 times. The missing 4 are: EDIT: Messed up some of the logic when generating the list. Went 4,5 today as my previous days suggest that they’d largely be safe (thankfully 19 days of 5 stopped yesterday, so I can have a fresh chain). With better odds on 1 and 2, I went 2 as a feeling that 2,4,5 felt like a proper combination today. I got an Altar instead. I very rarely get a Bonus on 2, and the combinations I do have don’t leave me much to work with. The two-pair combination ruled out 3, which was actually useful. I had 1 result with 4,5,6, (2) and 0 result with 1,4,5 (2) since tracked, but 4,5,6 didn’t feel right today/today felt like a 1,2,4,5 day based on thinking on other people’s screenshots, and 1 had the higher odds. So yeah, following the odds reader was successful today. I definitely stressed people’s charts before picking 1 though. I’ll take it.
