# Kurandara scared away the other battles

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**

Expected

> The battle against Kurandara will only appear after the player wins 4 of the other battles. However, his battle will not hang around; if you don’t fight him immediately, he vanishes!

Kurandara stuck around like a sore thumb. After many cycles, Kurandara was triggered after battle 39. He appeared for battle 40 (ignored), 41 (ignored), 42 (ignored) … but by battle 45, was the only thing left on the map (as pictured).

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Since battle 41 in the Black and White Magic event, until the map lost the plot.

**Steps to make it happen again**  
You tell me.  
I know of another person who hit this problem far earlier, at 415 points. So it looks like it’s related to which spawn points have been flipped.

I just want to skip the Kurandara’s, why make it so hard?
