It’s not about failing, it’s about knowing for sure a troop you want to obtain is in there. There’s next to zero reliable information at which point event/pass troops gets added to loot tables. Not just mythic ones, any of them them. Apparently there are various manual and semi-automated processes involved, all of them situational and prone to fail. And any communication that ever happens about it is external to the game, there’s absolutely no way to not run afoul by relying on in-game information only.

A game should be able to do better than saying “yep, there’s a 0.1% chance to pull a mythic troop, we won’t tell you which one you could get, because we don’t know either”.
