# Kukulkan will NOT be in event chests this week

I agree, but, given that the Devs are in total silence, a good number of players thought that Dudulkan would be available in event chests, given that in general it takes 3-4 weeks to see the units appear in the chests!

To be fair, they were VERY clear about the rules, then went silent.
It’s not like they said they’d let us know what was gonna happen, or made misleading statements. They said it would be in the soulforge during the next rotation, after it leaves the PvP shop.
Just because they suddenly go silent doesn’t mean they were gonna change the rules entirely and put stuff in chests. I mean, fair enough for people to try, in case they made a mistake, but if nobody is finding it on global, it’s not worth throwing resources at chests when you know it’s not likely (and if it was there it would be a mistake, not the expected outcome).

It would be useful if the in-game help on event chests listed the kingdom troops available in the chests; not every player is going to remember the rules for which are in and which are out, particularly as some of the rules are time-dependent.
(An even more useful stretch would be for the help to identify which kingdom troops _aren’t_ in chests, and why: faction only, vault only, soulforge only, PvP only, not released to chests yet etc etc.)

clicking the ? on the chest to see a list of excluded troops would be an ideal solution

I’ve got a dev meeting tomorrow - I’ll make a note to ask if there’s a scheduled date for his release and if it will just be Soulforge or Chests too - I was under the impression it would just be Soulforge though. I’ll let you know what I find out.
There will definitely be mention of his release in the weekly blog news post as well when it happens.

Thanks for keeping in touch with us, Kafka.🦁
It’s just that pvp seasonal mythics in the shop for gold marks are…questionable of when they will be available after their related pvp season ends. Since a Suncrest event is being held about a month after Kukulkan was no longer in the shop, we had to look at the soulforge rotation of mythics and wonder when we would ever see it in the soulforge.
People have made the suggestion that special cases like these need to have some sort of indication on their troop card to know that these troops cannot be obtained from guild, glory, gem, vip, (and in this case) event keys. If someone never visited the forums, they would open event keys in Suncrest this week and be pretty frustrated and confused, wasting all their event keys to try and get Kukulkan.

So you got all of them. After 8 years I still have 0 Zilopochtli, but got every other mythic again. 🤔

Kukulkhan, along with the other PvP shop mythics, need an in-game indication that they are only available in the soulforge. Plain and simple. It’s confusing and frustrating to keep track of these troops.
And this is the **second** time that we have had a Suncrest week where we can’t get this dumb bird. The twice a week mystic soulforge rotation helps, but maybe you guys could provide more information _in the actual game_ than mess around with different fonts…

That’s bloody confusing indeed. Glad I only spent 5k event keys before you guys answered.
It’s near to impossible to keep up with these kind of hidden rules. Indeed an indicator to show if it’s available in normal and/or event chests would be very welcome @Jeto . I have seen so many questions on this forum where people ask if a troop is available yet in chests. You guys should make that visible on the troops card somewhere.

The proper approach would be to integrate this into the collection. Select a troop, go to details, get a list of chests this troop is currently found in along with the odds of pulling it. From all the games I know, Gems of War obfuscates their gacha mechanics to an extent that misleading players into not receiving what they are aiming for appears to be entirely intentional.

Disagree, I would take a list of troops available from event chests listed on the EVENT CHESTS DETAILS. Just like we have tons of useless shiny tokens listed on the resources page.

That would only solve the problem for event chests. Not for gem, glory and guild chests. Not to mention vault troops.

gem chest listing 1.5k entries seems too much, esp given we have no search window. Event chests selected in particular because of HOW many times it failed. Noone cares when gem chest fails, because too big pool.
