Are all notifications that do come through, specifically Tribute? ---

Tribute only, and not reliably. Sometimes they come and sometimes they don’t. The time stamp at least is back. No pet rescue notifications at all. (Android 15, Pixel 8) ---

When they do appear, is it right after Tribute is collected, or an hour after your last collection? Or random? ---

For me, it’s an hour after my last collection. It has worked with the game open and closed. But still sporadically. Perhaps it could be because the tribute was not collected after the initial notification. This is on Android tablet. I don’t think I have notifications set up on my phone. ---

I get them for rewarded ads, as well. ---

I also have only seen tritube notifications and it’s not reliably an hour after last opening the game. It’s often longer than an hour. ---

On my Android device it happens once a day and only after I’ve opened the game up. Ever since the old reliable notification was parted ways from. Notifications only come after opening the game at least for tribute. Pet rescues haven’t worked at all. I can’t speak to reward ads or anything else because those notifications have been turned off. I’m replying to your comment because I feel like you are sincerely trying to help. But obviously notifications for a mobile game is not a concern to 505 Games. Because I can’t help but feel not enough resources or money are being allocated to this issue. And I have to assume the only reason the old notifications company was let go of was a financial decision. You stated in the past that it’s taking a long time to fix because testing keeps failing. If that is coming from a 3rd party company then I would call that stalling because they have no clue how it’s supposed to work. And if that’s coming from in house then I would say you folks thought notifications were a lot easier to code and manage than they are. So perhaps it’s time to give the matter back to the experts. I’m not saying this half a year issue is causing retention issues. But I know it’s not helping. No one likes playing a broken game. As long as notifications continue to not work. Then Gems of War is a broken game. ---

I’ve gone through all of the suggestions here and what I can tell you from my anecdotal evidence is this: - I get a notification every other tribute. I have to manually be aware for the second tribute and then I’ll get notified of the third, etc. etc. - If power-save mode is on, I get nothing at all. I also have my phone set to “work mode” and will affect if I get notifications. My “every other” notification is on the weekends or when I’m working from home. In the office, I get zero. - I only get tributes, no pet alerts at all. - If I collect on steam, it will skip a notification. I need to collect two on my phone for the next notification to appear. Currently on a Samsung Galaxy Flip 5, running the most updated Android (My phone auto checks and auto updates every night). I only play on my one phone and Steam (no notifications on steam ofc) This has been happening now for about a month. ---

I’m still waiting for the tribute and animal rescue notifications to work. How much longer? It seems like a year won’t be enough for you, which is very concerning. There used to be information from the guild chat, but I don’t think that will ever be restored. ---

@Jeto Is there any news? I lost count of the pet rescues I missed due to this issue. I set my timer for hourly tributes, but when I open the game, there is a pet rescue with 1 minute remaining. I don’t know how many times this happened to me. Logging in hourly is one thing, but do we really need to log in every half hour to get all pet rescues? Please inform us about the progress and when it will be fixed, it’s been like 14 months. ---
