# \[known issue\] Dark Golem Troop Not Upgradable

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
While working to ascend troops in Obsidian Depths, to boost the Power Level for Hellcrag, I happened upon this bizarre new issue.

I have 53 copies of a Troop (Dark Golem) and only need 50 to Ascend to Mythic…but, the Ascend button still doesn’t allow me to do so! It is now “Upgradable”, but it doesn’t show up as such in an appropriately filtered search, nor does the troop’s card indicate anything along those lines.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
_As far as I know, this started after the latest “Update”._

Very bizarre, unfortunate, and disappointing. (and it’s wild to think that NEEDLESSLY changing the aesthetics can disrupt the functionality!)
