It’s been a while, but I can tell you for sure (ok, 99%)they used to get them.

Edit: It is/was a console only thing. Here is a link to the conversation about it back in the day. [Kingdom magic bonus - #30 by Wargems](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/kingdom-magic-bonus/7129/30) It does say they found the issue and were working on a fix.
