# Is steam down for gow

i keep getting this message when i try to start game

I get that once in a while. Usually when I have a slow internet connection.  
I simply press Cancel, wait a few seconds, then try again.

Hello!

This also happens to me at times! Like @rbchaffe mentioned, it will go away after a few seconds.

It happens most commonly for me when I try and launch the game quickly after closing it, or another game.
