# \[Investigating\] Valhawk Encounters more than expected

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**
I appear to have encountered 4/3 Valhawks today. I expected a maximum of 3 Valhawks.
Please do not ban me, or reduce my Valhawk drop rate to below normal tomorrow.
**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**
Probably since PVP was released.
**Steps to make it happen again**
Play pvp in multiple regions? Note this occurred on a Monday.
I’m wondering if the Valhawk battle was cached. If so, that might mean that some people would get stuck at 2 Valhawks until they change regions to where the Valhawk currently resides…

Please answer a few quick questions for further investigation:
- Did this occur around/weekly daily reset?
- Did you experience any kind of game crashing?
- Was there any kind of Error Message that popped up? (eg. CLIFFY ERROR)
- Please let me know if this issue happens tomorrow as well? (or in the following days)
- Please provide your Invite Code?
And also don’t worry, the development team just wants to get to the bottom of this strange issue. 🙂

During the battle, an Evil Gargoyle gem inflicted the lycanthropy on enemy. Later it was transformed to the valhawk, which was without bag icon.
But after winning the battle i gained 2 monolith sigils; that became my 4th valhawk today.

I noticed quite some time ago that summoned Valhawks drop Monolith sigils when defeated, even if you have 3 encounters and 10+ sigils. I never reported it due to how minor an issue it was, and how rarely it happens, depending on a random undead summon being a Valhawk.
EDIT: I didn’t see the Valhawk count go to 4/3 because I had 12 sigils, and the count is hidden when you have 10+.
I didn’t think of lycanthropy.
I wonder what happens if a player actually puts one or more Valhawks on their team? The monolith sigils are on me!
