# \[Investigating\] Removing Lycanthropy gems cast lycanthropy

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
By definition, using a skill to remove gems should have no effect. However, if lycanthropy gems are removed, lycanthropy gets cast.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Every time lycanthropy gems are removed.

**Steps to make it happen again**  
When the board has lycanthropy gems, cast a skill to remove gems, like Abhorath. Watch as lycanthropy gets cast.
