# How to pass on the GM status

Can anyone kindly advise the steps to pass down your GM status to another member?

Demote yourself, then promote whoever you want to be the highest ranked (GM).  
If you can’t demote yourself. You need to make room in that lower rank for you.

Oh and make sure you trust this person 100%. Cause if they disband it. There’s nothing that can be done to fix it. They will also be able to kick whoever they want from the guild. Even you.  
It’s sad… But people can be really 💩ty even with a video game. And don’t care who they hurt with their actions.
