# How do I fix this Error 16?

I initially restarted my computer when I first got the error & now I’ve been stuck on ^that screen for 20 minutes.

I had this few times. Nothing helps - even uninstalling/reinstalling the game. In each case, after a few hours, this error disappeared without any actions from my side.

^Yeah, it let me back in about 10 mins ago.

A mod can delete this post If they need to.

Reset your modem or change your network connection and that will usually solve the issue.  
I get that the OP eventually got past it. So just posting here for future folks who face the same issue.

I had the same issue yesterday.  
I temporarily disabled my firewall just to get in the game and re-enabled it shortly after.
