# Hand over Leadership

I’ve been trying to promote an individual from my clan so that I can step down. However, it won’t allow me to promote him while I’m still Leader and I don’t want to step down without knowing who takes over.

What is the process for changing leadership on the PS4?

you have to demote yourself first, then promote the other person

You need to demote yourself first then you can promote who you want
