Hey! I’ve been playing gems of war on ps4 for about 10 Months now and have done all of the other trophies (aside from recently added ones) Bar guild wars. There has been really good vigilance/care in the past where trophies/achievements have been modifed /changed completely to accommodate new updates or a change in in-game features directly relating to them. within my 10 months of playing guild wars has been removed from the game and aside from an acknowledgement post in march sometime there has been next to no news/info or even a sign that its even coming back at all.. and if it does, whether these trophies / achievements below will even be applicable. It would mean the world to me if these were made obtainable or even just an acknowledgement that the devs are aware that they aren’t and that they’ll be obtainable in the future. Many thanks in advance if someone takes the time to read and respond. – Currently unobtainable since December 2023 – The Other Side of Dawn - Complete all of your Guild Wars battles in a single week Sentinel Prime - Upgrade each of your Guild Wars Sentinels at least once in a single Guild War Olympus Has Fallen - Defeat a paragon opponent in Guild Wars Defender - Have your PvP Defense Team win a battle ---

Saw your post, and felt compelled to respond. Id feel your pain. The changing of trophies has happened over time but Gems of war has been pretty good with this in the past Id agree. I dont know if their priorities have changed but I’d hold out with some hope man that the devs do see this and act on it. I think there was some more fundamental issues with guild wars as it kept recycling on the menus. Despite that, as a fellow trophy hunter and having played this game since 2016, id be devastated after the time and effort invested wasnt fixed in some way. I hope this doesnt discourage trophy hunters from picking up this title in the future, as its such an extensive achievement list to work though. I really hope you get some support with this man. ---

I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately the Devs have ruined this game big time, it was so much fun but over the last year or 2 they have become more greedy with making players pay for everything which has taken the fun out of the game. I use to spend around $300 a month because it was enjoyable and i wanted to support them but now i spend $0 and will continue spend $0. Guild Wars was fun but i would be so surprised if it came back only because the devs make no money from it. The only way it’s coming back is if they put a cost on it. ---

Even if it’s delayed, you probably don’t have long to wait at this point. Historically when game modes are updated the achievements are changed to fit the new design, with achievement text rewritten. ---

Not to be a Downer, but i seriously doubt GW will be returning soon, if ever. The new OP weapons and troops have made the prior event format untenable. Believe me, this won’t be the first nor the last time a “promise” has been made by the GoW team that for various reasons wasn’t kept. ---

I’m definitely expecting a format change. Guild wars was never fun to begin with, and as you said will be unplayable with the current pool. But they’ll release something and call it guild wars. ---

I just hope they’d make the necessary adjustments to the relevant trophies/achievements if they do decide to pull the pin on the whole idea, i am concerned however since they changed the way the Legends Reborn event works and left the trophy “Kingdom Crusher” (Complete a Kingdom Story 5 times in a single Legends Reborn event) for dead because they removed the replay facor for the event entirely. I do appreciate the engagement from the ones who took the time to say their bit. ---

Actually, they first said start of this year that Guild Wars would be pushed back a few days to make sure it works well with the PvP update. Then, after several weeks of community inquiries met with radio silence, they eventually admitted it never had a chance of working, needs to be redesigned from scratch, for which they are looking for community feedback. That’s the last we heard of it, for all we know they are still collecting feedback and will eventually start with the redesign.
