I recall posts directly stating that no RNG manipulation was done in battles. ---

It’s not RNG manipulation, just the computer more likely intentionally making inefficient moves, like ignoring extra turn matches. If you dig around deep enough, if was explained at least once in the forum, possibly by Sirrian. ---

I don’t really think that is true) At an old times devs mentioned that GW battle-bot and a PVP battle-bot was different. but now with a old GW completely lost i’m sure it uses the same engine.
