Hi, most of the powerful Guilds have other communication system than the GoW chat, like for example, a community of PS or just a group message. Our Guild Leader add every new member to her friend list and then add him to the main group chat, so we can do voice chat to help new players and give them tips, also to talk and have fun. Its up to you to figure it out how to mantain your member doing their stuff, honestly i think the location of the Guild button are pretty easy to find, also the chat. Maybe would be more useful request that you get some kind of visible notification that you have new messages on the Guild Chat. ---

Discord is also a VERY popular choice for Guild Communication, and prior to Discord taking over, Guilds used to maintain “Official Guild Forum Chat Threads”!! Perhaps, that might work for your guild? If they are regular forum visitors… 😉 ---

Line is good too, we use that. And we have a club on xbox for announcement and team builds, etc. There are a decent amount of options outside of the game for communication, that’s enough for me. ---

Our Guild chat gets very little input. We’ve tried a Discord with even less result. Are people not looking? Are they not bothering? Or do they just not know it’s there? As I’ve suggested before (see [Guild Leader "Narrowcast" to Guild members - #5 by Santandrix](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/guild-leader-narrowcast-to-guild-members/23556/5) ) there should at least be a way for the Guild Master to notify members that there’s an important message which would put a (!) flag on the Messages icon. ---

Well, if you tried other ways and it isnt working neither (because your guildmembers doesnt read it or pay attention) then the problem isnt the game or the guild chat, your problem is the members of your guild. I am not saying this in a bad way, in fact, i suffered the same in my previous guilds until i found the one i am in now, in which we have several comunication channels. Sadly, i think its not a problem with the ingame chat, the problem you have is about your very own members. PS: Sorry i didnt reply earlier but i wasnt at home. ---

Would you pick up the phone at random just to check? If there’s nothing to draw people’s attention to the fact that things are happening in the chat (like the exclamation mark that pops up to let you know you’ve got Guild Statue rewards), then is it any wonder people don’t bother looking at it? You can’t blame users for poor in-game functionality. ---

I am not saying you dont have a point, but facing the facts, if there are so many succesful guilds in the game i think the guild chat isnt a problem. But maybe you are lucky and the devs take your suggestion and change that issue.
