GoW Let's Play #1: Beating Sheggra w/ Starting Troops

Hello everyone! Welcome to my Gems of War Let’s Play series. In this series, I will be playing through Gems of War with a 100% free to play account. During the series I will be showing many helpful tactics for starting and progressing through Gems of War. I will also be giving out free redeem codes on occasion that give a range of useful resources to help you progress through the game. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to message below.

In this episode I go over many of the things a newer player should do when first starting the game. I also show how to defeat Sheggra using only the starting troops.

Are these going to have the quests in then so we can capture the dialog? That would be good stuff to have!

I am skipping all the quests aside from the boss fight.

All the dialog can be pulled from the files. Someone will make a guide on it eventually.

Yeah, I will be making a Chimera team if I ever get Chimera.

Too bad they can’t give you a one off code to unlock all the troops at level 1 for your videos.

Fairly sure that would defeat the purpose of doing a lowbie series. He’s playing the game as it is, as a new player experiences it.

Will you be joining a guild? That way newbs and lowbs get to see the true benefit of a guild!

I showed it during the first video and briefly in this video. I am in a guild with the 2 people that stream this game, Felicity and SC2draco. Also, Tech9neee ended up joining us.

Techn9neee, the guy in 3rd or 4th place on the global leaderboard, ended up joining this small guild that my new account is in. That is how I already have so many keys. His output is over 3x the total output of the guild without him. xD

Oh, I’ve never gotten anything from the random guild I joined. I just get the mastery bonuses and gold bonuses for the dailies I believe.

Try asking around for a guild in the global chat channel 001 or see if you can find a better guild on the forum. Guild resource output is an important part of this game to stay fully F2P.
