# Getting Error 16 - on Steam/PC trying to download asset in launch

**Describe your issue:**  
I was earlier logged in and played a bit with PC/Steam GoW.  
Just trying to re-launch the game and the download asset stops at about .40mb and then an error16 dialog is presented.

Clicking on Retry - re-shows the Error 16 screen

There is nothing wrong with the network - speed is fine

Did the Steam Check Integrity, still nothing.

Went into the Folder (through Steam - show game folder) and deleted anything that had a time stamp of the last hour.

This fixed the problem. Two Debug log files, and a graphic file
