# Game start to consume many PC resources when I'm AFK

**Platform, device version and operating system**  
PC, i7 4700 intel HD graphics/GeForce 840M, Win 8.1

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened**  
When I leave game running and go out, game start to consume many resources after screen blanking (I can judge by how the cooler start to howl).

When I turn on screen and resume playing resource consumption drops significantly and cooler calms down.  
This does not happen, when this game is not running, so I’m sure it’s not some other process loading my CPU/GPU while I’m away.

When I play game consumes only about 2% of CPU, but this number grows tenfold when I’m away.  
I’m not sure if this bug or feature but it annoys me greatly because I tend to minimize game instead of closing to save loading time.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
always (I’m playing this game for few months)
