# Gain 4 Attack Not Working?

First of all, as I understand it, Gain 4 Attack is different than +4 Attack in that +4 Attack is automatically added at the beginning of battle while Gain 4 Attack is only added after casting/using the hero’s weapon. Am I correct?

I just added the class bonus Ferocity with the Barbarian, with Gain 4 Attack. However, whenever I cast my Hero’s spell/use the weapon (Mountain Crusher, if that matters), the Attack stayed the same. At the suggestion of another player, I rebooted the game, but nothing changed.

Yes, for weapon upgrades.

That’s a class talent, it only applies at the start of the battle.

Ok, so Gain in weapons is applied upon use. Gain in class talent is automatic. Thank you.
