# \[Fixed in 8.8\] Accepting Genie's Offer Crashes Game

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**
The Genie made an offer of a gamble, bonus blue mana or deathmark on a random ally. I accepted, but before the result was revealed, the game crashed. After restarting, I found I had won the gamble, as the blue mana bonus was in effect. This happened after completing the first room in a level 500 Wyrmrun delve. The same thing happened later during an Explore run, difficulty 12. The game crashed after accepting the Genie’s Gamble without giving the result, which turned out to be favourable.
I have encountered the Daemon, Angel and Merchant without the game crashing when I take their offer.
**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**
Since 8.5
**Steps to make it happen again**
Encounter the Genie in a delve or explore run and accept her offer.

I just had the game crash while accepting the Daemon’s offer on explore 12.

so what changed between day 1 of the patch and now? I didn’t think anyone else would join my crashing club 😅

There must be some other factor, as I have accepted Daemon offer without it crashing too.

Probably because we’re all too busy with PvP and other daily chores. I just played some explore to test this and sure enough the genie offer crashes the game for me.

Same thing happened to me twice this week, but I forgot what the offer details were the first time. The last time it was for a green mana color gain or a different mana color loss, blue I think.
I’m on PS4.

@Jeto I see this was fixed in 8.8 but on my series X I don’t see an 8.8 update, I’m on version 8.6 and this is still a problem. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Is there an update for the series x or do you know when this is anticipated to be released?

Fixed in 8.8 means that’s the update that will have the fix, not that it’s already out.
8.8 isn’t out yet on any platform.

I don’t understand. If the problem is solved, why can’t the solution be made in version 8.7?
