Also happening on Xbox Series. I avoid clicking on it, then it pops up anyway when I get back to the menu screen and crashes. ---

So it seems to either be just Dragonknight Amira atm. ---

Tested clicking on the upgrade offer (immediate cliffy), clicking on other offers (no cliffy) and exiting various modes (always upgrade offer popup, triggering cliffy) and it’s definitely linked to the new troop. Presumably something to do with the troop not being available in game other than the free copy, meaning the game looks for the troop, fails to find it and freaks out, throwing an error in our faces and collapsing in tears, meaning we need to restart it. Worth pointing out that this means nobody can get the upgrade offer if they wanted it, so players will miss out and need compensating, as well as the general compensation for the game being broken. Also, the upgrade offer lasts like another 17 hours for me, so once that ends, the bug might go away for now, but it’s making the game almost impossible to play in the meantime. Anyone who hasn’t claimed the troop yet might consider waiting to do so, but unless they rush out a fix, you’ll just be getting the bug later instead. Guess it was to be expected that the 10th anniversary celebrations would have a special 10th anniversary bug to help celebrate all the other bugs we’ve suffered through, over the years. 🙄 ---

Managed a partial “fix” by opening the “weapon offer” I have, since I bought the event weapon. I exited the battle I was playing and quickly opened the weapon offer, then waited a second and exited it. No popup offer, and no cliffy. Not a great fix, and it’s not gonna work for everything, but it’s better then nothing, I guess. ---

Disgraceful. Guess they’ve chosen to “celebrate” 10 years by squandering every last tenuous thread of goodwill that may have remained in their playerbase. Bad enough that the anniversary has become just an excuse to try and wring us for cash, now they can’t even test their abysmal offers before they wreck the game. Good show devs. ---

Same thing happening to me on PlayStation, such an extremely easily avoidable bug and yet they Overlook it. Someone please fix this. ---
