# Error 16 code

I’m getting error 16.fail to download asset.  
I’ve quit the game.checked Google play for updates. Tried on wifi and off wifi. Haven’t been able to get on game since sunday

I had exactly same issue few days ago. Tried different things, they didn’t work out (game files check in Steam, router reboot, etc). In the end I used VPN to download that small update, turned it off afterwards and switched back to my usual internet connection/settings - it worked.  
(I did all those things on PC, idk about mobile; but VPN helped me).

Thanks for the idea. Im on mobile. I worked it out. I Uninstalled then reinstalled from the cloud.worked.you gave me the idea though. So ,thank you
