# Epic is the new mythic

None of that is being argued. The fact is that epic ingots are harder to come by in the game for the “average” player than a mythic ingot. That’s peculiar. I assume that is the OP’s point.

It’s dumb when rarity means nothing, yes, though devs could easily make sense of it all by allowing us to dismantle ingots backward in rarity.

They already have this system for traitstones.

Only for major traitstones into minor. Nothing else. I would so happily disenchant my excess 40 Arcane Stealth for 120 Runic Nature Traitstones (Half of what it cost) as well as a celestial.
