As I read the patch note by @Nimhain the spell either lowers attack, does AoE damage, or explodes… It always gives an extra turn though so you don’t have to worry about RNGesus mercy to make use of its skill

Unfortunately that’s not how it works:
The extra turn is only with the AoE damage.
