I always read that as perspective: the upper spike is the one on the manticore’s left wing (which is behind the manticore from our POV, and pulled back), while the lower spike is the one on the manticore’s right wing (which is in front of the manticore from our POV, and swung forward).
It’s also possible I’m _way_ overthinking this. ;p

That is… absolutely possible. And, from my perspective, the correct answer because the horn doesn’t line up with the nose at all.
And Nimhain didn’t even answer if it was a nose horn or actually from the wings. Just that it’s a special Manticore, which could mean anything. @Nimhain help us!
