# Descriptive text does not match effect for "Destroy Gems"

There’s a chance this is an outright bug [i.e. these effects \*should\* trigger], although I _really_ doubt it.

**“…with full effect, as if they were matched.”**

This is not only unambiguous…it tells us twice.

You do **not** get the full (or partial) effect of **banner bonuses** _“as if they were matched”:_

Also, there is **no surge effect** when _matching_ 3 gems or 5 gems:

I would recommend something along the lines of:

**Destroy Gems**  
Gems are removed from the board and mana is collected from removed gems.

While this might leave some room for ambiguity regarding banners and surges, it’s no longer false.
