# Contributed to guild task; no gold removed

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?**  
I contributed 5,000 gold to my guild’s task. I expected the counter to increase by 5,000 and my gold to decrease by 5,000.

Instead, I got the error message included below (had to quit/restart the game), the counter increased by 5,000, and I did _not_ lose 5,000 gold. So I promptly contributed that 5,000 gold to the same task again. Worked normally the second time.

I’m thinking this may be related to the error message shown in
