What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I triggered a pet rescue in PvP (after waiting for the ongoing pet rescue to finish). The pet rescue screen popped up which took me to the pet rescue event. Once I completed this, I returned to PvP to continue my battles in the same region. That is when the cliffy appeared.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Every time I rescue the pet which I triggered in PvP and return to the same PvP region to continue my battles.
Steps to make it happen again
- Finish the pet rescue battle in PvP (after waiting for the ongoing pet rescue to finish), select which pet you want to rescue.
- Wait for pet rescue screen to pop up and rescue the pet by completing all the battles.
- Return to PvP (same region) and continue your PvP battles.
