[Investigating] Class Event Scoring Issue

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened
Participating in the recent class event at a high level caused me to greatly examine the scoring system which is flawed, and quite possibly always has been, and shaving a significant number of points from the calculations.

(Screenshot 1)
(Screenshot 2)

Firstly: battles are organized in sets of 5 and the scoring begins 10+10+12+15+15(62). Each set of 5 increases by 50(10 per battle) until it is, allegedly, 80+80+82+85+85(412). This is where problems begin. Instead of 80 points for battle 1, 50 points are awarded. So it shaves 30 points off, unceremoniously, each battle(i.e.-85= 55)

(Screenshot 3)

In the aforementioned you notice that the logic of the scoring would lead the player to believe they would get 80 points for completion of the battle. However this is not the case:

As you can see only 50 points have been awarded resulting in 412-150(30x5)= 262. This is true of all fights. Nowhere does it advise of this disparity for any reason. Mathematically (350-30(first 7 sets of points)/5)= 80(sets) x 150(missing points per set) =12,000 missing points. Now the resulting leaderboard positions would be unaffected, providing this is an event wide issue, else just compensation is owed.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

It have been reported several times these last 2 years about this display bug showing 80, 80, 82, 85 and 85 points in place of 50, 50, 52, 55 and 55 points. Its here since the start of the class event.

When something so easy to detect and correct is not fixed in 2 years, it gives precious informations about the quality and care given to this game.

(of course when I write its so easy to detect…you still need to reach the 8th round of battles in the class event to see this bug which obviously no devs probably ever reached and apparently also not any of the bêta testers)

btw the sentence in bottom of 1st screenshot saying: “each battle earns leaderboard points (-1 for each troop you lose)” is also wrong!
You can lose a troop (or more than one) and have no penalty of your score if you can summon a troop to replace the dead troop.
So the correct description should be something like that: (-1 for each slot’s troop empty at the end of a won battle) Im not English speaker so there is probably a better way to write that. Anyway, the actual description ingame is wrong.
