# Chinese localization: how "alphabetical" sorting works?

I switched to Chinese (I studied this language some time ago), was glad to find some characters I knew, but I could not figure the sorting principle out. I know some principles on which dictionaries are based (pinyin, first stroke, last stroke, number of strokes), but they do not work here. So the question is: how everything is sorted by default in Chinese version?
